Pecha Kucha

My first ‘real’ Pecha Kucha experience was at a COIL Conference in 2016.  I had been experimenting with the concept before this, trying to adapt it to suit revision classes with the aim of students giving short presentations on specific topics.

Pecha Kucha is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds.  First established in 2003 by two professional architects working in Tokyo, the simplistic design keeps the presenter moving and to the point.  In total, the presentation lasts for 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
